Mercedes-AMG has provided the Formula 1 safety car since 1996, which has been driven by regular driver Bernd Mayländer since 2000. While the security vehicle was an AMG GT S specially modified for use until 2018, today the AMG GT R can be found on the world’s racetracks Color red was used.
