A completely newly developed generation of luxury-class vehicles: In September 1972, Mercedes presented the “Mercedes S-Class” to the public for the first time – a vehicle generation that marked the state of the art in terms of passive safety. In May 1975, the 450 SEL 6.9 was presented as the new top model in the series and the legitimate successor to the 300 SEL 6.3. The top model was characterized by high performance, maximum comfort and special equipment such as central locking, air conditioning or a windscreen wiper washer system. Based on the original 450 SEL with the greatest attention to detail, the miniature model is a real eye-catcher in every collection. The hand-assembled precision model not only impresses with its authentic paint finish, but also with the detailed representation of the interior. With doors, bonnet and tailgate, a total of six parts on the model car can be opened and allow a look inside the car.
