The Universal Motor Device, or Unimog for short, was born in 1948 as an agricultural machine. Unimog has been part of Mercedes since 1951 and has achieved a unique position worldwide with its outstanding off-road properties. Four-wheel drive, portal axles, differential locks front and rear, single tires, the torsion-resistant frame and the possibility of mounting a variety of attachments make it incomparable.
